During their third national meeting, the Networks of Active Masculinities in Bolivia held the first march against violence against women, as part of the Men's Day campaign. Shouting "many less machos", "men, listen, join the fight" and "no to violence", this group marched through the streets of downtown Sucre together with the Cebritas of the municipal government, handing out leaflets and brochures with information on violence and alternative masculinities. Some men even joined the march, showing their support for the cause.

These young men, from municipalities across the country, came together to prepare a strategy for their localities and activities for Men's Day. Posters, a media tour, the march, social media activism and an information fair with stands and screenings of films and documentaries on masculinities at the Casa de la Cultura in Sucre.

Ipas's ongoing work with the Active Masculinities Networks is making Men's Day increasingly visible as a day of struggle and reflection on violence and the role of men in building a culture of peace.
