In response to the health crisis caused by COVID-19, which reorganized the routine of health services, leaving aside sexual and reproductive health care, the teleconsultation service "Mi Telecon" has emerged, a free alternative that since September 2020 has been providing sexual and reproductive health care to all Bolivian women through a system that allows users to attend a medical consultation in a non-presential manner, from the comfort of their home, via cell phone or computer. This service is an initiative of the Government of Canada that Ipas Bolivia is joining so that more women can access a free SRH service in this time of pandemic.

Mi Telecon provides services in: contraception, sexually transmitted infections, menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, breast pain, sexual violence - SC0206 / 2014, guidance in cervical cancer prevention and PAP; in order to ensure all Bolivian women the exercise of their Sexual and Reproductive Rights (SRHR) during the pandemic of COVID 19.

Mi Telecon's work during the pandemic means a contribution to reduce the negative impact that COVID-19 has had on women's sexual and reproductive health, such as the lack of access to family planning, care for pregnant women, women and girls who are victims of sexual violence, and access to contraceptive methods.

To access a teleconsultation in My Telecon you must:

1. Have an internet connection.

2. Have WhatsApp and Facebook installed in your mobile.

3. Make your reservation on the Facebook page of MI Telecon https://www.facebook.com/Mi-Telecon-104988184682555

4. Follow the steps indicated by the My Telecon staff to access the Teleconsult.

Sexual and reproductive rights do not come under quarantine!
