The medical staff of the Women's Hospital of Sucre performed the legal termination of the pregnancy of the 12-year-old girl who was approximately six months pregnant.

The action was recorded yesterday, Wednesday, as confirmed by the departmental prosecutor of Chuquisaca, Mauricio Nava Morales, who said the baby was stillborn and a doctor from the Institute of Forensic Investigations (IDIF) took samples to establish the relationship of paternity.

In this case, according to the victim's testimony, she was abused by her father's stepfather since she was nine years old, but she also revealed that her stepbrother did the same, the departmental authority said.

Nava Morales reported that today, Thursday, a hearing will also be held to determine the legal status of the 14-year-old teenager.

The journalist of radio Suprema de Monteagudo, Paolo Alcoba, said that the hearing was to be held this afternoon and that the defense of the minor was in charge of the Defensoría de la Niñez y Adolescencia de Villa Vaca Guzmán, while the victim is in charge of Monteagudo.
